Welcome back!

We have a very important term ahead of us in Year 2 but also one that will be filled with excitement. We have lots to look forward too, including:

– St George’s Day

– Our learning on Towers, Tunnels and Turrets

– Answering the question ‘where do worms like to live?’ through Science investigations.

During Term 5, we will be:

 

Maths

We will be recapping our knowledge in Addition and Subtraction, Place Value, Multiplication and Division and Fractions.

 

English

We will be reading and unpicking ‘Shu Lin’s Grandpa’.

 

Science

Conducting an investigation on the question ‘where do worms like to live?’

 

D.T

Choosing and using appropriate materials to build a model castle.

 

Music

Year 2 will be learning a song called ‘Friendship’. We will be singing, improvising and playing instruments.

 

PSHE

We will be exploring relationships and how we can keep ourselves safe.

 

Geography

Exploring Towers, Tunnels and Turrets around the world.
