“Children make a successful start to their education” – OFSTED 2023

Holy Trinity was pleased to receive a ‘GOOD’ rating from OFSTED after an inspection that took place in September 2018. Following our more recent inspection in October 2023, the school continues to be graded as ‘GOOD’

The outcome highlights the quality of Holy Trinity CofE Nursery and Primary School’s offering: 

  • Teachers are passionate about the individual subjects they lead and aspire for all pupils to flourish in their learning.
  • Early readers are taught by well-trained staff to help develop reading confidence and fluency.
  • Behaviour in lessons is calm and purposeful.
  • Pupils embrace each other’s cultures and are interested in each other’s way of life.
  • The needs of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are carefully considered.

Holy Trinity was pleased to receive a ‘GOOD’ rating from SIAMS after an inspection that took place in July 2024. 

The outcome highlights the quality of Holy Trinity CofE Nursery and Primary School’s offering: 

  • The school’s Christian values of love, honesty and respect are well expressed through its caring atmosphere. This impacts positively the strong sense of belonging and supportive relationships evident across the school.
  • The worship programme holds an important part in school life and contributes positively to pupils’ good spiritual and moral development.
  • Religious education (RE) holds a central place in the curriculum and, through it, the school’s underpinning Christian ethos is well expressed.
  • Current leadership is well-focused on improving academic outcomes for pupils, particularly the more able, and has taken some credible steps to begin this process. For example, through using data more accurately to inform teaching.
