Admissions to Apply for a Nursery Place for the Academic Year 2024-2025
Our Nursery takes children from 3 years of age. We currently offer 15-hour and 30-hour funding, which will start the term after the child’s 3rd birthday.
Applications for September 2024 will open in September 2023.
Open Days will be published by the end of October 2023.

Nursery Admission Documents
The Governing Body intends to admit 60 nursery pupils for classes at the start of each academic year.
Applications must be submitted to Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School’s office.
When applying for the 30-Hour funded sessions – Parents should use the online HMRC eligibility checking system at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to obtain an eligibility code.

When appealing in-year admissions, the deadline for hearing the appeal is within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.

Applications must be made online at Kent Primary School Admissions
In addition to the online application, you will also need to complete a Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School Supplementary Form, which includes details of our admission arrangements and oversubscription criteria.
This form can be downloaded below and must be completed and returned to the school office or via email.
Appeals
If your child is due to start primary school in September 2022, you can appeal if you were refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Monday 17 April 2023).
You must submit your appeal before Tuesday 16 May 2023 for it to be considered by Tuesday 18 July 2023. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.

In-Year Admissions
If you are considering transferring your child to our school, please contact Primary Admissions for information on availability and waiting lists using the contact details below.
To apply for a place outside of the September Admissions process you will need to complete an In-Year Application Form and our Holy Trinity Casual Admissions Application Form. These forms will need to be completed and returned directly to the office (which can be downloaded from the link below). Please note if your child is offered a place at Holy Trinity, you will be required to provide your child’s birth certificate and proof of address (two for you and one for your child).
Late applications/Waiting lists/Multiple births: Procedures and arrangements for administering these issues will be in accordance with those detailed in the KCC’s booklet ‘Admission to Primary Schools in Kent’.
