Aletheia Trust Sports Day 2022
On the 7th of July 2022, Holy Trinity went to Saint George’s All through School, to participate in the Aletheia Trust Sports Day. There were Year 5’s and 6’s from Shorne CofE, St Botolph’s CofE, Horton Kirby CofE, Stone St Mary’s CofE, Sutton-at-Hone CofE, Rosherville CofE Academy, and Halling Primary, so the friendly competition was high!
The children from Rosherville did exceptionally in all the events, including Shot-Put, Standing Long-jump, Nerf Throw, Relay and 400m races, especially when considering some of the children had never done some of these events before; it was a brilliant opportunity to learn new skills, whilst also making new friends!
Overall, across all the events, St.Botolphs placed 3rd winning Bronze, Stone St Mary’s placed 2nd winning Silver, and Sutton-at-Hone took 1st place Gold.
Whilst Horton Kirby didn’t win overall, all the pupils had a great time and showed an unwavering determination for all the sports, which after all, is the taking part that counts.
