My name is Mr. Fagan and I am the teacher of Doves class. As History lead I enjoy teaching any form of the subject thoroughly, I always try my hardest to fit some history into any topic. My favourite subjects are English (I love creative writing) and History (it's all around us, we just need to look).
My name is Mr. Atkinson, and I am the teacher of Bullfinches class. As STEM lead I enjoy teaching Science & Technology and Mathematics. My favourite subjects are music, as I can play many instruments and P.E.

Doves and Bullfinches have their PE day on a Thursday. Children are expected to wear a white round neck t-shirt, black shorts or joggers, black trainers or plimsolls. During the spring months, school cardigans and jumpers can be worn over the top of the t-shirt during PE lessons.
These items cannot have any large branding on them.
Year 6 Expectations
In Year 6, the children are expected to read at home each day, for at least 10-minutes. The school is currently in the process of implementing the Accelerated Reader scheme. More information will be communicated later about this.
Children are expected, alongside their weekly spellings every Friday, to learn the times tables shared with them by the class teacher. A times tables test will commence every Friday. Every Friday home learning will be set of Freckle Maths: Online Learning Platform.
Year 6 are expected to read at home daily, this should also be recorded in their reading record book. Which should be shown at school daily.
New Year 6 spellings are given out every Friday afternoon.
Monday - Children receive a lesson on their given spellings, write the spellings into a vocabulary book and practise them in their handwriting books.
Tuesday - Children use the dictionary to find the meanings of their first five spellings. Children are also given time to practise spellings with their shoulder partner.
Wednesday - Children use the dictionary to find the meanings of their last five spellings. Children are also given time to practise spellings with their shoulder partner.
Thursday - Children complete a word search containing that week’s spellings and practise on a look, cover, say, write sheet for children to learn at home.
Friday - Children are given time to practise their spellings. Children are then given a dictation sheet where they are filling the missing spelling as an adult dictate.
