Welcome to our Year 3 Classes
“My name is Mr Baker and I am the Swifts class teacher. I enjoy teaching Maths and I love reading whole class stories. I am also History lead at Holy Trinity which is the subject I studied at university. Outside of school, my main hobby is running: I often run or volunteer at local Parkruns and Junior Parkruns on Saturday and Sunday. I also like cooking and reading.” – Mr Baker, Swifts.
“My name is Mrs Lockey and I teach Falcons. I enjoy telling stories, cooking and teaching maths. I am Spanish Lead at Holy Trinity. In my spare time I love spending time with my granddaughter and my 3 cats”. – Mrs Lockey, Falcons.
We set high standards throughout all areas of learning and the pupils are encouraged to excel. Together as a team, we are also here to ensure that we deliver the curriculum in a fun and engaging way to provide differentiated learning for pupils.

Timetable
Please see below an exemplar timetable for most of the weeks this term. On Tuesday we have a dance tutor coming in. On Thursdays we are lucky enough to teach Ballet.
P.E. Day
Swifts and Falcons have their PE day on a Thursday. Children are expected to wear a white round neck t-shirt, black shorts or joggers, black trainers or plimsolls. As the weather turns colder school cardigans and jumpers can be worn over the top of the T-shirt.

Children will not be able to change their books until they have completed their Accelerated Reader Quiz. A Freckle task will be given to the children each Friday to be completed by the following Friday and they will be given times tables to learn for a times tables test on Fridays.
All homework tasks are communicated via the homework book. This book must be brought in every Friday.
