KS2 School Councillors Trip to Parliament
This week, our KS2 School Councillors had an amazing visit to the Houses of Parliament!
They explored both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, learned about the fascinating history of the Palace of Westminster, and discovered how decisions are made that affect our country. They also had the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with our local MP, Lauren Sullivan, where pupils asked thoughtful questions and learned more about her role in Parliament. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
