We're going on a mini-beast hunt!
Our topic this term is called 'Beast Creator' and is all about mini-beasts.
We went on a mini-beast hunt around the school, we took our mini-beast identification chart, a pencil, some paper and our keen sense of observation.
Off we go...
What's down this path, amongst the plants?
On the trunk of a tree we found a caterpillar! 'It's so green!'
On we go...there's something interesting in here...
Let's look on the ground too...
Mrs. Bayliss got quite excited by the newt we found.
We continued looking in the garden and the plants around the edge of the field and found these too...

What can you find in your own mini-beast hunt?
