Term 4 Learning

We have had an amazing Term 4!

In Year 2, we have learnt all about habitats, created Beachcomber artwork and developed our shared writing skills. 

Art- Beachcomber

In our Art lessons, we have been creating Artwork using objects we would find on the beach. The children created a variety of designs and worked very hard to portray their own unique ideas. 

 

International Women's Day

We have honoured International Women's Day this term and the children loved understanding and learning about Equal Rights and how this has changed through the years. We created cards and letters to a woman in our lives that we wanted to celebrate and thank. 

 

Red Nose Day

On Friday 17th March we celebrated Red Nose Day to raise money for Comic Relief. We all came to school dressed in red and donated £1. The children looked wonderful!

PSHE- Jigsaw Jo

In PSHE this term, we have been learning all about healthy eating and how we can take care of our bodies. The children have been helping Jigsaw Jo understand how to have a balanced diet, looking closely at food that gives us fuel and energy.

We have had a fun-filled term! We look forward to welcoming the children back for Term 5.
