Non-Uniform day in aid of the relief effort in Turkey/Syria
To support the Turkey – Syria Earthquake appeal we would like our school community to raise some money by holding a non-school uniform day tomorrow, Friday 10th February.
Children/families should only contribute what they are able to towards this non-uniform day – it is not a compulsory non-uniform day.
Children should wear sensible and appropriate clothes and footwear for the weather.
We are aware that this is short notice, but with the death toll passing 12,000 in Turkey and Syria we want to support the rescue and recovery efforts in any way that we can.
We have held the victims and their families in our prayers this week throughout Worship, in our classes and within our staff meetings, and we continue to pray for those families who have lost loved ones and those supporting the rescue effort.
