Fishers of men/DARing designers

This term, our focus has been on the disciples and how their lives were impacted by Jesus. In class, we discussed how Jesus chose simple fishermen to follow him, and we investigated why disciples are called the "Fishers of Men". Here are some of the artworks the children drew depicting how disciples were called to spread the word of God. 

   

 

Our topic this term is Daring Designers. The children have been discovering how fashion has changed over the years by looking at what was fashionable in the 1960's, 70's and 80's. We discussed the different trends and then the children were asked to design their own 1980's look, based around what was fashionable in that era. Below are some of the children's designs:
