Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Barn Owls Gardening Project.

Some lovely new garden areas have been created for each year group.  We hope to grow some fresh vegetables that the school will be able to eat as part of their school dinners.

In October, we planted some spring cabbages which are almost ready.

The heart of the cabbage is just starting to grow and should be ready soon.  We need to dig out our weeds, and then we can plant our sunflowers at the back of our garden.

We are germinating sunflowers, carrots, rocket and parsley. They are all sitting in our classroom at the moment. They will hopefully be strong adult plants soon.
