Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Skittle fun

A fun filled week! We made shapes, practised our mark making and experimented using skittles!

We have been practising our mark making using Write Dance.

"up, down, up, down, round and round and round".

We used mark making to draw butterflies.

"Look at mine Teacher"

We have been using play dough to make shapes.

What shape names do you know?

How many sides does a sides have?

First we made a repeating pattern using two different colours.

"Red comes next"

Then we poured water into the middle of the plate.

We observed as the colours moved through the water towards the middle of the plate.

"Wow look"

"It's a rainbow"

"It's coming off the skittles"

At the end we wobbled the plate to see what colour the two colours mixed together would make.

Can you see what colour red and yellow made?
