Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Measuring mayhem!

As part of our science topic 'Getting on and Growing Up' we have been investigating our body measurements.

We reviewed how to measure accurately and then took a series of measurements in pairs and threes, checking each measurement carefully.

We definitely need a friend to help measuring our height.

We also measured our forearms.

Questions we have yet to answer:

Are our arm spans the same as our height?

Are our forearms the same length as our feet?

We thought like scientists and and made a prediction based on our own knowledge:

Do you predict that boys or girls are taller in Nursery?

We will analyse our data next week.
