Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Celebration of us!

This week we have been recognising our names, practising our fine motor skills through Writedance and have begun helicopter stories.

We also dressed up in clothes from our own cultural backgrounds to show each other and celebrate our diverse community.

We have been encouraged to spot characters and items in pictures as well as discuss what we think might be happening.
What's your favourite story book to read?
Writedance helps us to work on our fine motor skills and pencil grip.
Can you draw a zigzag?
What about a circle?
We help each other to practise recognising and writing our own names.
What's the first letter of your name?
Can you write the letter?
We really enjoy Helicopter stories, we listen and then take it in turns to act out different characters in the story.
What characters would you have in your story?
We dressed in clothes from our own cultural backgrounds to show all of our friends.

We even went to show our clothing to other members of staff and children.
Mr. Dockrell was very impressed!
