Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Wonderful Winter

This term we have been learning all about winter. To enhance our learning further, we went on our school trip to the Promenade.

We walked to the Promenade with our tiny feet.

Do you remember how to walk safely on the road?

When we reached the Promenade, we went in our small groups to look for different signs of winter.

We had a winter checklist.
We found a bare tree (we know what that means. It's a tree without leaves!)
Once we found the signs of winter, some of us discussed the different things we could see and also spoke about the temperature (the water is FREEZING in the winter!)
" A tree with leaves." We found an evergreen tree ( A tree that has green leaves ALL YEAR ROUND!) Can you believe that?

After all that amazing learning, we were hungry. We had lots of snacks Yummy!
We also  played on the climbing frame and on the swing.

It was then time to go home, so we could tell our adults how much we learnt and much we enjoyed ourselves.
