Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

We are Andy Goldsworthy!

This week Reception have been learning about an artist called Andy Goldsworthy who famously makes art using natural materials (that's right, he doesn't use material brought from a shop!)

After looking at some of Andy Goldsworthy's work we headed outside to collect our own natural materials to make our own natural art.

See what you can find when you are out walking, what picture will you make?
Then we worked as a team to create a picture we had discussed and planned.
Can you think of another time we have worked as a team?
We also worked independently to create our own ideas.
"I've made a face, can you see!"
We were very proud of ourselves.
"I've made a house!"
"I've made a beautiful flower!"

When we had finished we all looked at each others work to see the similarities and differences between them.
