Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

The onions are ready!

This week we have been working hard on our counting and ordering numbers, forming letters and writing our names.

We are very excited that the onions we planted are ready to be pulled out of the ground.

Our very silly numberblocks keep ending up in the wrong order!
We all worked together to correct them.
We counted how many blocks there are to work out which number numberblock it is.
What number can you count up to?
We are getting very good at writing our names, we don't lose our work when we put our name on it!
Can you write your name?
You could practise at home.

We are trying really hard to make sure that our letters are pre-cursive.
This will really help us when we begin to write joined up.
Can you write your name using pre-cursive letters?
"Look at the strawberry plants!"
Our garden is really growing, and soon we will be picking, cooking and eating the food we have grown.
Have you grown any vegetables or fruit this year?
