Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

The Time Tunnel

There's light at the end of the Time Tunnel!

As we're nearing the end of our Time Tunnel topic, we thought it would be great to finish by exploring some key historical characters through the ages.  We chose an incredibly varied bunch to focus on; Marie Curie, Christopher Columbus, Florence Nightingale and Martin Luther King.  Working in teams, we thoroughly researched our chosen historical character, we then planned and wrote their biographies.  Our final written biographies were so fabulous that we felt we just simply had to illustrate them with portraits - we used  sketch pencils to allow for depth and lightness of shading.  I think you'll agree that we have created some pretty good likenesses.
