Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Violent Volcanoes!

The history of our earth!

This week, we have been reading The Pebble in my Pocket and thinking about the question, 'where did my pebble come from?'

The book begins with a wonderful description of an active volcanic landscape 480 million years ago. Perhaps this is where our pebble was made?

After reading and discussing the text, we picked out powerful words and description and used this to help us make our own illustrations for the first page!

Where do you think your pebble came from?
