Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Archaeological finds!

Year 2 became archaeologists this week!

On Tuesday our classrooms became the set of 'Time Team'. We all had trays of archaeological finds. We carefully used our brushes to uncover the amazing artefacts so that they were not broken. Unfortunately, somethings were already broken so we used our detective skills to put them back together. We discovered that they were originally a large bowl and a small pot.

We had great fun thinking about who they may have belonged to and what they might have been used for.
