Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

We are having a WHALE of a time...

Welcome back! We have enjoyed our first week back and have been exploring our new book of the term ' The Snail and the Whale'.

We have been analysing the front cover and have been critically predicting what the book is about. We used our sense of sight, hearing, smell and touch to explore the beach.

We also listened to sounds of waves crashing together and swaying!

We went onto the playground to see how long a humpback whale actually is. We discovered that a female can grow up to 16 metres long! Look at us estimating how long and big a whale is in comparison to a snail!
