Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Wonderfully Wild

In class, we have been reading and exploring the book Wild. After reading and looking at a wild forest setting we were eager to produce our own. Before collecting our resources for our setting, we chose a character from the book that we wanted to include in our setting e.g. bear, fish, bird or Wild.

Exploring Wild...

We then discussed where in and around the school we could find items for our setting - the field and playground! In groups we worked together to collect different types of natural items e.g. pine cones, leaves, grass, berries etc. We were in awe and filled with wonder by our wild forest settings!

Look at all the natural items we collected!
We had so much fun creating our Wild setting!
