Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Super Space Cookies

To complete our topic on space today, both reception classes have had a lot of fun making their own space cookies!

We talked about the importance of hygiene and the preparations involved in cooking. We looked at the recipe and followed the instructions.

Can you ask your child what ingredients we used?

What did we use to weigh out the ingredients?

Then children measured out the ingredients and rolled the dough out. They cut the cookies, which were then placed in the oven. The children were very interested in noticing and describing the changes that occurred.

We would like to thank the parents of both classes that attended our Learning Gallery. The children were excited to share their learning with you.
