Eagles Soaring In Misty Mountain Heights

.
Our Terrific Thursdays are continuing to be a great success!
In Year 4 we are so lucky to have our Art sessions delivered by Mrs Noordally (a fully qualified Art specialist teacher).
We have all had great fun creating Art work based around our topic of 'Misty Mountains'.
Here are some quotes from the children showing just how much they value these sessions;
'It's great to try so many different Art techniques.' - Meh.
'I like doing Art with Mrs Nordally, when we get stuck she encorages us.' - Oliver.
'I enjoyed building up my mountain picture in steps to create my masterpiece.' - Opal.
'I liked the way I was able to choose colours carefully to build up the birds feathers in layers,' - Ellise.
'It was fun ripping up the paper to make the mountains.' - Paige.
Check out our wonderful Mountain artwork gallery below. If you look carefully, you should be able to see how the Mountains have been built up layer by layer to give the feeling of them being both near and faraway. Also take the time to notice how the eagle's wings have been given texture, by careful choice of colour and shape for each layer of feathers.
