Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

We are Poets!

This week we have continued to write poems which relate to our topic learning about London. We moved on from the Great Fire of London to writing about different landmarks which represent our capital city.

Here are some Sparrows reciting our AMAZING poems which we wrote together in groups without adult assistance.

Do the facts that we include in our verses really help you to picture each landmark in your mind?

Do you recognise the tune that we are singing to?

Once we had sung and written our poems as a group, we wrote some verses independently for our Hot Task.

What did you think of our poems? Please feel free to comment below!
