Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Men Wanted!

Off we go!

Let me tell you about my journey, someday soon I’m hoping to head to Antarctica aboard the Nimrod with Ernest Shackleton, my name is James Wordie and I am a geologist. It’s a good job I’ve researched Ernest Shackleton to make sure I know as much about him as possible. First things first, I need to apply for a job aboard this wonderful ship. The journey, I’ve been told, will be arduous and dangerous but I still want to go. This week I’ve been working on my CV making sure it shows my qualities and unusual skills that I can use aboard ship.  There is a lot of us applying for jobs, Dr’s like Dr James Roy and the well known photographer Frank Hurley, I’m really looking forward to getting to work together; I just hope we all survive!
