Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

The Plague is Over!

Step back in time and take a look at our amazing creations!

We have been adding the final touches to our ‘pestilence’ poems this week. The children have been learning about how to use figurative language, with a main focus on personification for description and atmosphere. Take a look at the outcomes of Fay, Jennane's work below!

At the beginning of the term, we kick-started our literacy learning with diary entries which reflected life in 13th century England. Here are some examples of the finished journals completed this week with their personal, illuminated letterings.
