Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Inhabitants of Narnia

Whilst we have been busy finishing our information booklets for English and consolidating subtraction in Maths, we have spent some of our afternoons immersive reading.

Our immersive reading text is 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' by C.S Lewis.

Before starting the text we explored the inhabitants of Narnia. We distinguished between mythical creatures and real animals.

We found out about satyrs, fauns, centaurs and minotaurs.

Why not ask your child what their favourite mythical creature was?

Our challenge was to create our own mythical creature. See how creative and imaginative we got!
