Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Welcome to Year 4

It’s wonderful to be back!

Kestrels and Skylarks have enjoyed settling into our first week.  We have been getting to know our new classes and teachers.  We were introduced to the changes in our school, changes that keep us safe and healthy.  We were reminded that we are one great big, caring community.

In our RE, have been looking at the question: Can I explain feelings of awe and wonder?  We considered what awe and wonder meant to us. “Amazement, marvelling, awestruck and spectacular”, were some of our responses.

We were introduced to the Creation story from the Bible.  We continued our thoughts of awe and wonder outside.  Having collected ideas from nature, we created leaves and wrote on them, the things that helped us answer the big question for our lesson.

Well done Year 4!
