Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Art and Activism

In English, we have begun to look at social justice and the way this can be expressed in poetry. This week, our focus has been on Kenning poems. Here are some examples of our creations, in response to the above image.

Art this week has been a messy affair! We have been experimenting with charcoal. First we explored different lines and tones which can be created.

Later in the week, we progressed to creating figures in motion using our newly learnt charcoal techniques.

We are eagerly anticipating experimenting with our next medium!
