Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Welcome back!

It's great to be back!

Swifts and Falcons have enjoyed their first week back at school. They have been getting to know their teachers and have embraced the changes that enable us all to stay safe and healthy.

We have been learning about democracy and rule of law. We have been exploring our own ideas about laws and why we need rules.  We hope to put our knowledge of democracy into practice when we choose our class school council representatives in the near future.

In art we have been practising drawing different thicknesses of lines and small patterns. This week we used these skills to draw and fill in sections of leaves with a patterned effect. We hope you like our drawings.

Our class song  "Don't Worry, Be happy" is proving to be popular and is helping us to stay positive and promote a community spirit. It's a catchy tune so don't be surprised if you hear the children singing it at home!
