Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Different is good...

In Year 1, we have been learning what diversity means.

We are all the same because we have hair, but we all have different hair and different is good!

We are all the same because we have hands, but our hands are different colours and different is good!

We also look at exploring diversity in poetry and we had a go at writing our own.

Gurnoor is developing his letter size and has used some key words.

Anastasia is beginning to use finger spaces and full stops.

Dilara has used her phonic knowledge to try to spell watching and has remembered the question mark at the end.

Kenley has used keywords, finger spaces, phonic knowledge to try to spell pool and has a question mark.

We all like different things and different is good!

What things do you like to do?
