Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Back to School!

In Merlins and Sparrows we have settled into school and have been very busy.

Let's see what we have been doing.

We have been reading the story of 'This is our House' by Michael Rosen.

We have enjoyed role-play and acting out the story in our table groups.

First, we practised the characters and then we performed to the class.

'No, you can't play in my house!'

'We will play something else together then.'

  'Stop! You can't play!'

'This house is just for me! You can't come in!'

   'Please let us play too.'

    'We can all share together.'

We talked about what we liked from each performance.

The story 'This is our House' by Michael Rosen teaches us that being kind and playing with others is nice for everyone.
