Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

10 little fingers, 10 little toes...

What an amazing week it has been in Reception!

We have been doing lots of our learning not just in the classroom, but also in the outdoor area.

This week we have been learning all about the number 10.

Did you know number 10 is a two-digit number?

We learned how to write the number 10 by repeating a rhyme, and then we decided to go outside and write it with chalk on the ground.

Would you like to see some of our writing?

" I can write the number 10."
"I write the number 1 first and then i write the 0."

We used our pinching grip to hold the chalk and write the number carefully! It was so much fun!

"5 and 5 makes 10."
"10"

We have had so much fun learning about the number 10 this week.

Can you write the number 10?
