Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

What a Wonderful Wednesday!

What an amazing week it has been in Reception! We have been extremely busy doing lots of new learning and also enjoying playing along with our friends.

We were extremely excited about Wonderful Wednesday as we always are!

We started our Wonderful Wednesday by doing some amazing art that linked with our Topic of 'Fairy tales'.

Would you like to see what we created?

We made a dragon that is breathing fire!
We used various different techniques to create these amazing dragons.
Would you like to know what we used to create the pattern on it?
We used bubble wrap!

We went on the field, and we also enjoyed PE with Charlie! It was so much fun! We practised lots of different skills one of which is throwing and catching.

We also did some Super Science in the afternoon, where we made a Circuit bug and learnt about positive and negative electrodes. We learnt that a battery has energy stored in it which passes through the wire and then the bulb comes on.
Did you know that?

It has been an extremely exciting week, and we cannot wait to do some more amazing learning next week!
