Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

This week in Reception, we have been learning all about Baptism. We learnt that some Christians are baptised as babies and it is a celebration to welcome the babies to the church family.

We also watched a video of a Baptismal Service which we then acted out. Finally we coloured a picture of the service.

Would you like to see the photos?

"The Vicar make a cross on the baby's head with the water."
"They pour water on the baby's head."
"Godparents are their special friends."
"Baptism takes place in a church."
"People sing in church to welcome the baby to the church family."
"I will make a cross on the baby's head."
