Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

A new beginning...

Congratulations to all the children on completing their first week of full days in Reception!

We have been settling into our classroom routine and have really enjoyed meeting new faces and making new friends.

Each day we are beginning to learn more and more which help our brains grow bigger and bigger!

This week, we have been talking about ourselves and our families with our classes and have created wonderful portraits of ourselves.

We also made pictures of our families!

Would you like to see some of them?

" My mummy, daddy, sister and me!"
"That is my family!"
"I have a mummy, daddy, sister and a baby brother."
"I've got a pattern on my house and this is my family!"
"I'm drawing my family. I love them!"

"That is me!"

Who lives in your family?
