Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Explore and investigate.

With the sun and little rain, we have noticed that lots of mini-beasts have come out to see us.

We carefully move leaves and wood to reveal and explore their habitats.

Can you name any mini-beasts?

We help each other balance as we move around our outside area.

"I help, hold my hand"

We found some leaves and grass that we thought our mini-beasts might like to eat.

When investigating different noises in our nature area, we found something that made lots of noise.

We moved the string around slowly then fast!

We have learnt about plants needing water to grow, so on hot days we make sure that we water them.

"I water"

We investigated how we could make water walk from one cup to the next.

We put food colouring into the water to help us see it better and make a rainbow.

"I'm putting in red".

We had to wait for a while, but slowly the different colours in the water started to be soaked up by the towel and move to the next cup.

It was very exciting!
