Holy Trinity CE Primary School

Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Fee Fi Fo Fum!

This week we have been learning all about Jack and the beanstalk.

We have been discussing characters, their feelings and what they do in the story.

We planted Jack's magic beans to see if we can grow our own beanstalk.

What sound does the word beanstalk starts with?

We practised our cutting skills and made our own puppets to re-tell the story.

What character did Jack find at the top of the beanstalk?

We acted out the story of 'Jack and the beanstalk'

We grew as tall as the beanstalk for Jack to climb.

We used cubes to measure the height of Jack, Mum and the Giant.

"5 cubes" "The Giant  is the tallest"

During our independent Learning time we like to dress up as characters and act out stories.

"I'm a princess"
