Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Spring into Easter

This week we have seen our outside area become more colourful as the daffodil bulbs have sprung up and the mini beasts have come out to see us.

The Easter bunny has also been hiding eggs in our garden, yum yum!!

We learnt about the importance of the 'cross' then used our fingers and different materials to decorate our own crosses.

Who does the cross help us to remember?

We counted a given amount of Easter eggs into the basket, sometimes we had too many and had to take some out.

What number can you count up to?

We found a newt in our outside area.

We carefully carried it back to it's habitat so it could be safe and find it's family.

Have you found any creatures outside in your garden or at the park?

'I've found one, it was on the house window!'

We had lots of fun doing our Easter egg hunt, the chocolate was really yummy!
