Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Super science

This week Robins have been investigating ice and finding out how to grow seeds.

We had to melt the ice to get the toys out.

"It's cold!"

"Put some here!"

We tried warming the ice by holding it, but it then made us cold!

"it's slippery."

"We need hot water, can we have some?"

The warm water made the ice melt faster and we got our toys back.

We planted cress seeds. We gave them water and put them somewhere light to grow.

"Tiny seeds."

Have you grown anything before?

We have practised our writing patterns.

Can you draw circles and a wavy line?

In our independent learning we used shapes to make pictures.

"House!"

What shapes do you know the names of?
