Maths fun
We have been reviewing our knowledge of shapes, learning about the number '2' and sorting colours whilst we tidy.
We have been naming and sorting 2D shapes.
Can you recognise a triangle, square, circle and rectangle?
We have been making the number two using pipe cleaners, then practising our formation.
Can you write the number '2'?
"Two sticks. One, two!"
We made a number 2 mud pie. We had to add 2 sticks, 2 stones, 2 leaves, 2 scoops of mud and 2 scoops of water.
We stirred our mud pie 2 times (twice) and then turned it over and gave the bucket 2 taps to get the mud pie out.
Maths skills can be used at any time.
Here we had to sort our kitchen out and make sure all of the fruit and vegetables were back in their correct pots.
What can you count at home?
