Mud, mud, glorious mud!
This week we have been looking at colour patterns, practising writing paaterns and explore mud as art.
We worked together to mix mud and water together. This made the mud easier to paint with.
"Lets paint this one"
We made different patterns using the mud.
We even tried flicking the paint brush to make a dotty pattern.
Can you make a dotty pattern using a pen and paper?
How about drawing straight and wavy lines?
We created many different circle, wavy and dotty patterns.
We had lots of fun!
As it is Autumn there are lots of eaves on the ground.
The children decided to see if they could paint the leaves with mud then print them onto the paper.
"Look leaves are falling!"
We have been naming colours and threading beads.
We are beginning to look at repeated patterns.
We will use our colour knowledge to do this.
