Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Art Attack!

This week we have created many things.

As part of Black history month we looked at art around the world, we particularly looked at African Art.

We also read Leaf Man, we heard about how he blew in the wind, over the mountains and across the lake.

We looked at different African art and named all of the colours.

Can you name the colours being used in the picture?

We then designed our own patterns to paint onto our necklaces.

Can you spot any patterns whilst out for a walk?

Here we have a beautiful spotty pattern.

We read Leaf Man, he blew everywhere, up, around and over.

We acted out blowing everywhere then went outside to collect leaves.

We made our own Leaf men.

Have you made anything using things from nature?

In R.E. we learnt about the wise and the foolish builders.

We sang about them.

We then designed our own houses.

"I think I will build mine on a rock"
