Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Romans in the Dance Studio?!

This week, Year 6 were educated on how to be proper Romans, in a Dance Studio of all places…

Our wonderful instructor Gary filled us in on our activities for the day. We took part in a Roman quiz, looking at different boards full of information. Also, we’ve looked at Roman games and played a few rounds as well.

In the Dance Studio, we learned about the different weapons, armour and tactics the Romans used in battle.

We recreated the battle of Boudicca and the Roman Army, chose a Roman Emperor (Nero) and even had a little Gladiator battle as well.
