Scientific Romans

This week, Year 6 have been learning about Romans and conducting slime experiments…
Since we started learning about the Romans, we’ve learned many different things about what it was like to be a Roman soldier. To engross ourselves in our learning, we took a trip to the School Hall where we lined up in formation and had to march as a group. We pretended to defend ourselves and to keep strong when an enemy force came upon us.
During our Terrific Thursday, we were treated to amazing science experiments. We learned about creating foam and bubbles using simple homemade ingredients. But best of all, we made our very own slime. Though our colours were different, all our slime was the same, gooey and slippery.
