Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Read all about it!

This week we have started studying newspaper articles and we started with one about the athlete Usain Bolt.

Every newspaper article starts with a great headline. Our task was to create one for our shared write about Usain Bolt.

Would we use alliteration (where words start with the same letter or sound)?

Would we use puns (word play)?

Can you identify which literary devices are in these headlines?

We then contributed ideas to a shared write of the opening paragraph of the article.
