Learning and caring together, building a firm foundation for the future

Stone Age to Iron Age.

As part of our topic, 'Time Tunnel', we have been studying the chronology of early man.

Firstly we gained some understanding of the term 'chronology'. We then researched some of the key events of the Stone, Bronze and Iron ages. We stood in line holding up pictures of these key events and their associated dates. As a class we worked together to rearrange these events into time order.

The photos show us in our initial order,

half way through sorting ourselves into the right order

and finally in the correct chronological order!

Why not ask your child about the major differences between the Stone Age and the Iron Age?
