Stone Age Cooking!
Tuesday was our 'No Pens Day' and we decided to experience Stone Age cooking. We made seasonal Stone Age Fruit Stew and Stone Age Oat Flat Bread. We measured, chopped, mixed, stewed and fried our way through the recipes. Reflecting as we worked, that our knowledge was based on historic clues and guesswork.
Harry commented, "I made flat bread and for me, it was scrumptious and delicious. It was also sweet and healthy!"
Avni enjoyed the whole experience, "...the flat bread tasted minty and was filling. The stewed fruit was sweet and delicious!"
Another added, "...and the pears and apples went really well together. Lovely, seasonal fruit!"
